(Band; Chain; Fetters; Shackle; Strap; Ties) In a dream, a bond signifies assiduity, piety, a pretext, an illness, an ongoing debt, cognizance of the one who puts the chain, or a rope around one’s hands.

A silver band in a dream means a lasting marriage. Ifit is a brass band in the dream, then it means decisiveness but with trickery and regarding something loathsome. Ifthe bond is made from lead in the dream, then it means having determination about something weak or unworthy of such attention.

A bond made with a rope in the dream signifies piety and religiousness.

If it is mad of wood in the dream, then it means persistence in hypocrisy.

If it is a bond made of a piece of cloth, or a thread in the dream, then it means attachment to something that will not last. In a dream, a bond also means delays when one is intending to travel, and for a merchant it means salability of his merchandise, and as for someone suffering from depression, it means perseverance of his sorrows.

To see oneselftied-up in God’s cause in a dream means caring for one’s family. Seeing oneself tied-up or fettered in a city or a village in a dream means living there. Being bound inside a house in a dream means living with a difficult wife. Adding extra shackles to an already bound and bed stricken person in a dream means his death and for a prisoner, it means extension of his sentence. Wearing a green garment and seeing one’s hands tied-up in a dream means spiritual growth.

If one sees himself wearing a white garment, then it means knowledge, understanding, beauty and honor. Ifone sees himself wearing a red garment, it means that he is a musician, or that he is fascinated by music and a night life of distractions. Wearing a yellow garment in a dream means sickness. If one sees himself in a dream tied-up inside a palace which is built from glass, it means that he will befriend a noble woman, though their friendship will not last. (Instructor; Master; Mentor; Teacher) In a dream, an educator or a teacher represents himself, or he could represent the principal of a school, or a model, a pillar, a shaikh, a jailer, one’s son or one’s mother.

An educator in a dream also means a coach or an animal trainer. Seeing oneself as an educator in a dream means advancing in one’s field. Amath teacher in a dream represents intellect and wisdom. Adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing in a dream represents common benefits and losses one incurs during the course of his life.

A Qur’[m teacher in a dream represents singing, honor or favors.

An unknown teacher in a dream represents the Almighty God Himself.

In a dream, a fountain placed in a suitable place or as a decorative item in the middle of a yard or a park represents honor, dignity, dispelling worries or adversities, hearing good news or listening to good music, squandering money, dispersal of one’s interests, breaking a gathering, or adding and subtracting if seen near an accountant.

A fountain in a dream also means avoiding evil actions.

If one is told that such a fountain is a blessed one in the dream, it means the opposite, and should one wash himself with its water or drink from it in a dream, it means depression and trouble.

It should be noted that when relating a dream it should be done without adding anything to it or subtracting anything from it. For, if a person does this he spoils and corrupts the dream. Moreover, Rasoolullah (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) has strongly prohibited anyone from doing this.

His also reported as saying that anyone who invents a lie linking it to him or his (own) father or friend, he will not even smell the sweet fragrance of Jannah.

His also reported as saying: “There are three persons whom Allah will punish severely on the Day of Qiyaamah : a person who relates a false dream : he will be made to tie a knot between two grains of barley which he will never be able to do; a man who paints a picture of animate objects; he will be made to put life into them which he will never be able to do; a man who leads a people in Salaah while they dislike him”.

It is advisable for a person who sees an unpleasant or disturbing dream that he spits thrice on his left side as soon as he wakes up and thereafter seek Allah’s protection from the accursed devil. (Ache; Discomfort; Hurt) In a dream, pain means regret and sorrow. SUffering from a tooth ache in a dream means hearing painful words from a relative the particular tooth implies. Neck pain in a dream represents being illtreated by one’s friends. Neck pain in a dream also may indicate that one has betrayed his covenant, or that he has denied a promise. Shoulder pain in a dream signifies bad earnings. Stomach pain in a dream means spending money in sin and feeling regret for doing so. Pain in one’s navel in a dream signifies ill-treatment of one’s wife. Heart pain in a dream means having hidden bad qualities, or questionable religious sincerity. Liver pain in a dream means illtreatment of one’s children. Spleen pain in a dream means spoiling one’s money by adding unlawful earnings to it. Severe spleen pain that could lead to one’s death in the dream means loss of one’s religious commitment. Lung and chest pain in a dream mean the nearing of one’s death. Back pain in a dream means the death of one’s brother, supporter, superior, or a close friend. Pain in one’s thighs in a dream means causing harm to one’s community. Pain in one’s foot in a dream means money, or it could mean straying from God’s path.

Reading the holy Qur’an or part of it in a dream means rising in station, gaining power, repenting from sins, prosperity, paying one’s debts, witnessing the truth, or delivering a trust to its rightful owner. Reciting the holy Qur’iin with a beautiful voice in a dream means honor, dignity and good fame. Reading the holy Qur’iin and adding one’s own words to it in a dream means wavering from the truth, or betraying one’s promise or covenant.

If in the latter case one does not understand the meaning of what he is saying in the dream, it means that he will give a false testimony in a court of justice, or that he will be involved in something evil the consequences of which cannot be foreseen.

If one sees people listening to his recital of the Qur’an in a dream, it means that he will command a job, and that people will follow his instructions. Hearing, or reading any Qur’anic chapter which is customarily read for a deceased person in a dream, signifies the death of a sick person in that family. Professional Qur’iin readers in a dream represent the leading people of the society.

To hear a professional Qur’iinic recital in a dream means that people in authority will soon gather in the place where the recital is seen in one’s dream.

If one sees himself reading his book of records on the Day of Judgment in a dream, and if he is an unlettered person in wakefulness, it means that he will become rich after having suffered from poverty, and that he will answer all the questions he will be asked on the Day of Reckoning, or that he will be protected by God Almighty from what he fears most. This happens if one’s reading of his own records is positive, but if it reads his sins and pitfalls in the dream, then it denotes distress, trouble, or sufferings.
